  • Eyeliner from Tsubasa Masuwaka's makeup line for Koji

    • deep black
    • black
    • brown

Where I purchased it: Aberdeen Mall (Vancouver)

Price: $17

Product Size: 18 grams

Packaging:
Super cute Pink and purplish polka dot pen. I love the refined think brush applicator. The brush makes it really easy to apply the liquid liner.

Product Review:
The formula is long lasting and the with a  smooth texture, with no clumping or flaking. It is just perfect. I also love the thin fine brush applicator. Dolly Wink's liquid liner thin shaped brush helps create a more precise line. The brush makes it easier for me to create and control the line thickness.

I used to love the L'oreal's Liquid Intense Liquid Liner in Carbon Black, but the Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner beats that out of the water. L'oreal has a felt tip applicator while Dolly Wink has a more refined brush applicator, which I personally prefer. In a pinch if I cannot get my hands on Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner my 2nd best pick would be the L'oreal Liquid Intense Liquid Liner.

Swatches:

The brush applicator makes it very easy to make thick or thin lines.

How I apply it:
I draw it on my upper and in-between my lash line.

Would I repurchase?
Yes, the Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner is amazing!  Personally, I think this product makes liquid liner easier to apply. It is pricey, but worth the money and it last quiet a long time. I have mine for 4 months now and hasn't dried or run out yet.

By far, my HG liquid liner.

Review: YSL Perfect Touch Foundation #4 Sand

Product Description:
  • To give a "Perfect Touch" finish to your skin.
  • Gives your complexion a smooth and boost radiant look.
  • Hydrates you skin, while looking flawless.
  • Has a build in brush for a convenient and easy application.
  • Expires 6 months after usage
  • Made in France

    Where I purchased it:
I got this at a very discounted price of $2 at Ollies
    In color 4 (sand)

For reference I am an NC30 Mac Studio Fix Powder.

    Price: $55 (price varies)

    Product Size: 1.3oz

The build in brush application is

Side View of build in brush applicator.

    Where product dispenses from.

    Packaging:
Has a convenient built in foundation brush applicator. The brush is soft and well made. It is pretty dense and is a square flat shaped.

I wish this came in a pump bottle. I find this bottle very inconvenient, since it is hard to control the amount of foundation that dispenses from the bottle. The brush also leaves streaks after application and isn't very sanitary.

    Product Review:
Product dries fairly quickly with a powder matte finish. It doesn't feel heavy or tacky like some foundations. There is a slight sweet fresh fragrant, but not over powering and it doesn't linger once applied. The foundation is a liquid medium consistency and glides on smoothy. This is a light to medium coverage.

    Swatches:

    How I apply it:
At first I tried to apply it with the build in brush, but it left my skin looking streaky and it was hard for me to apply the foundation on smoothly. Personally, I prefer using my fingers to apply it on my skin. I find this more effective and it gives me a flawless, smooth looking skin.

This doesn't feel heavy on my skin, it is really light I don't feel like I am wearing any makeup. My skin can breathe and it doesn't fill suffocated.

    Side Note:
To open it just twist it so that the "O" matches the "N" for  "On. To turn it off twist the "O" to "FF" for "OFF". It spills out easy if you don't turn it off when not in use.

    Would I repurchase?
Maybe, if only the price was more affordable and if the YSL change their packaging.

Pros: great foundation for light to medium coverage.
Cons: expensive and needs better packaging so there won't be so much product waste. I would like it better if this was packaged in a squeeze bottle with no brush attachment.

Where I purchased it:  Rite Aid
** Currently Rite Aid is having a 40% off on all their Maybelline Products-- ends Sunday 5-29-11**

Price: $7.19 (Retail price varies) --->  got it for $3.31 (yeah for sales & coupons) ^__^

Product Size: 0.12 oz or 3.5 grams

       Packaging:
The Maybelline's HighShine Lipstick is squared shape, very similar to the Maybelline's Sensational LipColor  packaging, except this has a shiny, reflective,  and silver cap. The cap securely clicks tight , great to put in your purse without worrying about making any mess.

      Product Review:
I really love these. They are super glossy and shimmery, without looking gaudy or  frosty.  These lipstick are super hydrating and they feel so light on my lips.  You don't need to apply gloss over your lipstick, a couple of swipes and you are done. This is similar to a lip gloss in a lipstick form. It is so easy to apply, since it is semi-sheer, yet very buildable in color.

These lipstick has a citric berry smell to them. Personally, I like the smell, but if you are sensitive  to fragrant lipsticks, then these might not be for you.

The Color Sensational High Shine Lipstick reminds me of 1 of my most favorite Holy Grail (HG) lipsticks, the Shiseido Makeup Shimmering Lipstick, minus the hefty price.

      Swatches:

      Each Swatch is swiped 4x

      How I apply it:
Just apply it on your lips. This goes on really smooth, not gritty at all. And my lips looks so glossy and watery.

Would I repurchase? Yes, most definitely, I love how smooth, light this feels, with a super pretty glossy look.

Congratulations to the Newly Wedded, Prince William and Catherine Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

      England's Official Royal Wedding Photo

I just watched the Royal wedding today on BBC America, and it was beautiful. I just adore the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton.  They are so contemporary in their attitudes and perspective in life. It is great to see a new light in the monarchy. They are such an adorable and endearing couple  。◕ ‿ ◕。

A beautiful 9 years in the making, from friends to husband and wife, this romantic journey of Prince William and Catherine Middleton was solidified on Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. A gorgeous celebration well deserved for the beautiful couple.  Even though some traditions were followed,  I love their personal twist on their big day, showing their nontraditional royal ways, a very true modern relationship, carving their own way for a new future.

God bless them and I wish them the best in life and a beautiful and happy future together.

She did her own makeup and hair on her wedding day! And might I say she looks gorgeous!

      *Fun Wedding Facts:
      • Kate's wedding band is made from Welsh gold. ( A rare gold found exclusively in two areas of Wales)
      • Kate's engagement ring (a 18 carat blue sapphire surrounded by a cluster of 14 diamonds) was Prince William's mother, Princess Diana Spencer's engagement ring to Prince Charles in 1981.
      • Kate's dress is made by English designer Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen
      • Kate wore a Cartier Scroll Tiara, made in 1936 and lent to her by the Queen.
      • They had 1,900 guest at the wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
      • They had about 300 at an intimate family and friends reception
      • At the church ceremony hats were required.
      • Youtube live stream - an estimated 400 million people tuned in around the world
      • 22.8 million people in the US and 24 million people in the UK watched the wedding on television.

Lastly, just for fun, when I was out recently, I took some pictures of some Bath & Body Works products honoring the royal wedding.
